5. Are vehicles and passengers insured?

All vehicles in the Avant2Go car sharing system are comprehensively insured.

The mandatory car insurance covers the damages caused to third parties, whereas the AO+ insurance covers the physical injuries caused to the persons inside the vehicle. The comprehensive insurance has a deductible of 300 euros, which means that the user of the car sharing system is responsible for the vehicle up to the value of the deductible.

When you log into the system, you have the option of purchasing all or part of the deductible. This will reduce your liability in case of damage to the vehicle.
